Ingredients
1oniondiced
1bell pepperwhichever color you prefer diced
1carrotpeeled and sliced
1packagehot dogssliced in rings
Spices
salt
black pepper
garlic powder
paprika
Sauces (as desired)
4tbspsoy sauce
1tbspbarbecue sauce
1-2tbspketchup
3tbspsweet chili sauce
2tbspbrown sugar
Instructions
Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add onions and saute for a few minutes until soft. Add pepper, carrot, and hot dog slices.
Add sauces and brown sugar to the frying pan.
Add generous amounts of salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika.
Cook on high heat, stirring occasionally, until hot dogs and veggies are nicely browned, almost burned.
Notes
My family loves how this tastes when it's almost burnt. If you don't like that super-crispy, almost-burnt taste, then feel free to modify and fry the stir fry over medium-low heat until the veggies are cooked through.
